Full Moon Consideration

Temperance: Mary El Tarot by Marie White

Temperance: Mary El Tarot by Marie White

I have a very clear and devoted commitment around New and Full Moons: I keep a journal and honor vows, intentions and offerings—make ceremony. Here, today, in Taurus...I got earthy (vs. airy) and revisited my New Moon intention(s) created during that Libra time. I had planned tonight's releasing...under the power of her light, but came to a twist. As I reread my post about "creating rhythms that serve me," I realized that I had not quite created a specific "rhythm" per se—and was not at full potential to release. So, I wandered up the dirt road and out into our quiet nature...to listen to the plants—and learn from them. It was the yellow leaves, trembling in the wind, still attached by stem to tree who spoke up. "How do you know when you will come down?" I said, and they responded: "We are of the cosmos." In that moment, I knew their knowing. A sound and solid knowing. Thank you for that wisdom. My new Full Moon release (edited form) is now about reverence for (and acknowledgement of) the organic rhythms that are naturally in alignment. We are of the cosmos, and, therefore, we change everyday...Of the moon, of the seasons, of the Taurian earth. To witness and honor ourselves as Changing Woman, we stand tall and know our ebbs and flows. In that, we are Temperance. I honor this moon by releasing fear and rigidity, while allowing my heartened awareness of our greater cosmos to work with me—like the dance of water and fire.
