Wow. It's kind of crazy, but this is the sort of magic that happens in nature, around me, where I live. I am often totally blown away by the unbelievable beauty. Early morning, evening sunsets...all of it. This photo was taken late this A.M., trekking through the fields with the dogs, harvesting things for this evening's Sharing Circle and mandala making. I particularly love this time of year—when the "dead things" peep above the snow, and remain so beautiful. Corn husks are a favorite. Enjoy the witnessing of the past bounty. We've welcomed the void...and slowly move toward Yule and the longer days.
